True story, no lie. A guy walks into the restaurant where Christina Nelsonworks here on Maui this afternoon. The gentleman and his party want breakfast, though the restaurant is now serving lunch, but Stina, being the cool chick that she is, talks the cooks into russelling up some eggs and whatnot. The party is super stoked on their upcoming breakfast bonanza. She notices the guy is wearing a Viper Room shirt and she mentions that we tried to get a gig there on our upcoming tour, but alas, no luck. They talk a bit about the band and when she comes back with the grub, he says, “I own the Viper Room. My friend in Paia says you guys are great. I called the booker and told him to give you a slot on the night you want.” BAM! And to make it even MORE PERFECT, we’re opening for Paradise Kitty, an all-girl Guns ‘n Roses tribute band. You can’t make this sh*t up. Personally, I think it’s going to be THE GREATEST NIGHT OF ALL TIME.
